Welcome to the Cadwell Burch & Affiliates Website

This website was created to connect the descendants of Agrippa (also known as Grippa or Gripp) and Isabelle (Joiner) Cadwell. Agrippa Cadwell was enslaved on the Benjamin Burch Plantation in Cadwell, Georgia, which is located in Laurens County, Georgia. It is believed that Agrippa was born circa 1835 - 1840 according to ages listed in the United States Census.

Gripp and Isabelle were united in matrimony on July 4. 1866, and their Marriage License was recorded on Feburary 2, 1869.

Agrippa’s brother was Martin Burch, and it is to be believed that his mother was Hannah and sister Hester.
